Tõrva parish is located in southern Estonia, in the historical Mulgimaa region. We are located only 30 kilometres from the town of Valka and an hour’s drive from Tartu, the second largest city in Estonia.
We have unique nature, historic manor houses, great sporting opportunities and exciting cultural events.
Come visit us!
Tõrva is a historical summer town since 1937 and the largest city in all of Mulgimaa. Tõrva has the highest diving tower in the Baltics with a height of 11 meters, four lakes and the river Õhne flows through the city. We have one of the most beautiful sports complexes in Estonia – comfortable health trails for skiing, running and hiking, good quality disc golf courses, a renovated stadium and the water and sauna center Tõrva Veemõnula.
Come with the entire family!
Tõrva parish has the only mausoleum in Estonia – the final resting place of Barclay de Tolly, commander who defeated Napoleon. Estonia’s most unique and largest log house is also located here – motel Greete where none of the rooms are square.
Welcome to Tõrva parish!
